Teaching and Training
The Bedgebury Foundation welcomes applications from schools or charities for adults working with young people under the age of 25 who want to undertake training that will help them to improve those young people’s access to education. For example:
- All SpLD needs including Level 4-7, OT, SaLT, Play or other therapies
- Individual, group or whole school CPD addressing blocks to educational engagement
We can provide grants up to £10,000.
Preference will be given to trainees working in mainstream schools who wish to share their newly acquired knowledge and skills with other mainstream schools, charities, Young Offenders, religious or youth groups.
Applications may be made by schools or charities.
Applicants will be expected to have accessed any Student Loan Company Funding available and our grants may make up any shortfall.
The Bedgebury Foundation is unlikely to support applications which are unrelated to a particular need, of no specific educational purpose or easily funded elsewhere.
Applicants must be resident or working in mainstream education within East Sussex or Kent, including Medway Towns but excluding Brighton and London Boroughs with Kent postcodes.
