Our People
Bedgebury Foundation comprises a volunteer Board of Trustees and subcommittee members and one part time employee – our Director.
Claire Haffenden – Director of Administration
Our Director Claire is the Company Secretary, an executive member of both the Grant Award Team and the Strategic Investment Team and manages the day to day activities of the charity. Claire has worked in the charitable sector for 25 years, starting as a Grantmaker at Charities Aid Foundation, then Lloyds Bank Foundation. In more recent years, she has been a Fundraising consultant, supporting more than 200 small Kent and Sussex based charities to raise funding.
The Board of Trustees
The members of the Grant Award Team, the Board of Trustees and Strategic Investment Team collectively represent a wide range of professional and personal experience; for example –
- Teaching – including Heads, Deputy Heads, SpLD L7 Assessors, Teachers and Tutors, including specialists in SEN
- Youth Training and Employment, and Child Protection
- Business, Finance, Investment, Law, the Church of England and charities.
