Welcome to the Bedgebury Foundation

The Bedgebury Foundation is a grant-making charity supporting access to education for children and young people in Kent and East Sussex, where lack of funding is a barrier to achievement.

We offer two categories of grant –

  • Teaching and Training (T&T)
  • Inspiring Young Minds (IYM)

Our Grants

Teaching and Training (T&T)

For those adults involved with helping children and young people with additional needs such as SpLD or trauma, gain access to education and learning.

Inspiring Young Minds

For schools planning innovative projects to benefit specific cohorts and/or whole school learning including mental health and wellbeing.

Teaching and Training Programme: is open, the next deadline is 12th October.

Inspiring Young Minds: is closed, grants from previous applications will be made in May 2025, the new programme opens early in 2026
